Sign up for a volunteer crowdsourcing site or a citizen science site, and do about an hour of volunteer work. What does the platform do to motivate contributions from people? What kind of work did you do? How did your work contribute to the broader project? What did you gain from doing the work? What ideas do you have on how to improve the platform based on your experience?
