Find a popular meme that others in class have not already posted in the "W21: Week1 Report" Slack channel. Make sure your meme is unique from those posted by your peers and that the content is appropriate to share (i.e., no nudity, etc.). Write a short paragraph or two at most to explain the meme and why you think it went viral. What was the origin of the meme? What cultural references are made? Why did people spread the idea? Can you estimate how many people saw the meme? What's your theory about why memes spread or not? Also talk about your experience of locating a meme: where did you look? what else did you see?
